Customer Service Executive (Remote)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Remote Customer Service Executive to support a Singapore-based fibre-optic network engineering company with customer enquiries, service requests, maintenance scheduling, and project documentation.
This is a highly structured role involving case logging, scheduling, data entry, document preparation, and follow-ups with customers and our engineering team. The successful candidate must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a consistently high level of accuracy, patience, and professionalism.
Candidates with customer service or service coordination experience in IT, telecommunications, engineering, or facilities management will have a strong advantage.
*Comprehensive step-by-step training will be provided, including the technical basics of our network solutions. We are therefore looking for someone who takes their responsibilities seriously and is genuinely interested in building a stable, long-term working relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via email, phone, and website, and log every case.
• Log fault and service requests, and coordinate engineers' site visits and maintenance schedules with customers and building management.
• Follow up on open cases until they are resolved, and keep customers updated on progress.
• Prepare and send quotations, service reports, and maintenance contract renewal reminders.
• Maintain customer, site, and equipment warranty records in Excel/Google Sheets or the CRM.
• Handle enquiries, registrations, and scheduling for our GPON training and certification courses.
• Support the sales and project team with tender documents, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
• Handle data entry, document review, and administrative tracking with high accuracy.
Requirements:
• Experience in customer service, service coordination, or sales support, ideally in IT, telecommunications, engineering, or facilities.
• Willing to learn technical terms (fibre optics, network equipment). No engineering background is needed.
• Familiarity with ticketing or CRM tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including regular data entry, tracking, and record maintenance.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is highly meticulous, patient, and attentive to small details, particularly with case records and quotations.
• Is comfortable performing repetitive administrative tasks accurately and consistently.
• Is proactive and resourceful, and follows through on open cases without constant reminders.
• Is a fast learner who can understand structured processes and quickly grasp technical knowledge.
• Can research unfamiliar matters and resolve routine issues independently.
• Can manage urgent faults, multiple deadlines, and competing priorities calmly and effectively.
• Handles confidential customer and commercial information responsibly.
• Is receptive to feedback and committed to continuous learning and process improvement.
• Is interested in a stable, long-term working relationship.
